中国大陆第一位获得硕士学位的二胡演奏家，民族音乐教育家，现任中央音乐学院教授，中国音协二胡学
会副会长、中国民族管弦乐学会理事、北京民族乐器厂技术顾问。 刘教授从事教育工作三十余年，多年来
其学生在国际和国内的各项民族器乐和国内的各项民族器乐比赛中纷纷获奖并名列前茅。由其提出并实践的
“以‘基础技巧’、‘应用技巧’（含‘风格性技巧’）和‘音乐表现’为基本程序”的教学理论，对促
进民族器乐的教学起到了不可低估的积极作用。刘教授极为重视艺术实践，曾到过许多国家和地区演及讲
学并获好评；他还为多家音像出版部门录制了许多张个人专辑CD唱片、教学录像带及盒式磁带。此外，
刘长福先生还勤于理论研究，他先后撰写和发表了数十篇有较高学术价值的论文和专著。中央和北京等广
播电视及报刊等新闻媒体先后对他的艺术成就进行了报导及现场采访，其生平和业绩也已载入《中国当代
艺术界名人录》、《中国文化英才辞典》、《中国教育专家名典》及英国剑桥《世界名人录》。
